Clint Sargent has been practicing law with the Meierhenry Law Firm since his graduation from law school in 1998. He has trained as a trial lawyer with Mark V. Meierhenry, former Attorney General of South Dakota and one of the state's most reputable trial attorneys. With Mr. Meierhenry, Clint has handled several highly publicized cases, including the United States Supreme Court case of Lopez v. Davis, (2001) and the case of Muhs v. Johnson, in which a Sioux Falls jury awarded Sargent and Meierhenry's client $269 million.
Clint has tried 33 jury trials, 23 as solo lead counsel. He has tried both civil and criminal cases in state and federal court. He has argued before the South Dakota Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
In 2009, Clint was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the specialty of Personal Injury Litigation.
